A Little Slice of America, and Still No Work?

Seriously, it was a little slice! Last night we order pizza!!! I never thought I would be so happy to get Pizza Hut. The best part was, it tasted exactly like pizza hut back home. Heck, it all comes from the same factory, it better taste the same. Sure, I would have rather had some real pizza and with some sausage or pepperoni on it, but this was still a nice change from curry and no meat.

My uncle brought something to my attention the other day ---> I seem to just talk about food all the time on here! But, I am ok with that. I mean, go check out Steve's blog right now. He has a giant bacon cheese burger on it! I am not the only one that misses American food.

Now about work, or the lack thereof. Well, I have started something, but not the actual project yet. I have been doing some reading related to Java programming. I am reading and (re)teaching myself Java in preparation for when we are going to start the new team project. I have also been playing around in Eclipse, the IDE that we will be using for the programming, and tried making a few dummy programs. I still haven't done anything profound yet...

I think I know why I am not really doing any work yet, it’s not just me being an intern. The project that I am working on is still very much in its infancy. The project has just started recently and the all the details are not yet finished or organized. So, I along with the rest of the team will start working Monday.

Aside from work, I think I am going to visit Fragomen today. When you are in India for more than 180 days, you are supposed to register with the Foreign Registration Office (FRO). That’s nice; I am not going to be here for more than 180 days. I am here for 80 days. I guess it's because I have a one year visa that I need to register with the FRO. But, whatever the case, I need to get 5 passport photos of myself for them. WHY?? Where am I supposed to go do that? I guess I will find a place with Tanurima today and then go to Fragomen's office.
